To strengthen and support our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Electrification & Automation unit with base out of the Danish Siemens head office in Ballerup. The unit is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure which is a business in the Siemens organization. We are looking for a dedicated colleague to be part of our Engineering Team, consisting of 13 highly competent colleagues handling a variety of projects and services within substation automation and energy distribution infrastructure.
What are your responsibilities?
Manage all phases of delivery of switchgear systems, from creating and clarifying the technical configuration in the offer phase, to execution and on-site delivery and commissioning. Full ownership of deliveries and overall technical and financial performance. This includes:

To strengthen and support our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Electrification & Automation unit with base out of the Danish Siemens head office in Ballerup. The unit is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure which is a business in the Siemens organization. We are looking for a dedicated colleague to be part of our Engineering Team, consisting of 13 highly competent colleagues handling a variety of projects and services within substation automation and energy distribution infrastructure.
What are your responsibilities?
Manage all phases of delivery of switchgear systems, from creating and clarifying the technical configuration in the offer phase, to execution and on-site delivery and commissioning. Full ownership of deliveries and overall technical and financial performance. This includes:
- Acquiring deep knowledge of our portfolio and always keeping up to date with new functionality and solutions
- Manage delivery of medium-voltage switchgear solution from the early start-up phase until fully designed and commissioned
- Design and clarify customer specific medium-voltage switchgear solutions together with Sales Team
- Clarification of technical solution design with customers, our factories and Product Lifecycle Managers at Siemens Headquarters
- Ensuring compliance with and keeping track of specifications, standards and customer requirements
- Coordinating manufacturing, documentation, installation and testing activities
- Hands-on work by performing final function test of the medium-voltage switchgear before final handover to the customer for first energization
- Provide regular status updates of the deliveries, time-schedules and financial performance to main stakeholders
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering or similar technical discipline
- Experience with medium-voltage and electrical engineering is an advantage
- Ability to collaborate across different organizations and teams
- Strong oral and written skills in English. Danish language skills will be a big advantage
- Proficient with Microsoft office products
- Superior skills in attention to detail and managing priorities
- Structured and analytical approach to problem solving
- Be curious and eager to learn about new technology
