When you receive a package via one of the well-known package carriers and/or from an e-commerce company, the package has probably been loaded or unloaded by means of a Caljan Rite-Hite Telescopic Conveyor. Caljan Rite-Hite is the world's leading manufacturer, we have a strong market position and we continue to grow.
Due to this continued growth and the desire to strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to participate in setting the direction within the electrical area for Denmark and Latvia as well as occasionally provide electrical support for the entire Caljan Rite-Hite organization of approximately 450 employees around the world.
You will, in an international environment, be based in the Electrical Engineering Department at HQ, near Aarhus, and will contribute with a professional back-and-forth for the Electrical Engineering Manager to whom you will report.
The job will require travelling to other Caljan Rite-Hite sites which allows you to coordinate and follow up on electrical challenges as well as to visit key customers to participate in technical clarifications in large and complex projects. You will be expected to travel for approximately 30 days throughout the year.
Key responsibilities
As Senior Electrical Engineer you will primarily act as natural go-to person for all complex automation issues and you will work closely together with our Danish and Latvian team of engineers to ensure that quality and progress targets are met.
You will have the automation project responsibilities in automation R&D projects. The process of a typical automation R&D project could be planning, designing, testing and releasing for serial production of the product or a new option to an existing product.
You will be managing engineering consultancies and suppliers working on your R&D projects.
You will facilitate and participate in international projects and furthermore, you are expected to contribute with in-depth technical knowledge as well as your knowledge of regulatory requirement and relevant industry standards.

You have a theoretical background as Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Electrical Engineering/Automation Engineering or similar combined with as a minimum 3 years of experience within an international automation engineering company. As a person, you are flexible, organized and able to work independently.

Who are we looking for?
You have a theoretical background as Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Electrical Engineering/Automation Engineering or similar combined with as a minimum 3 years of experience within an international automation engineering company. As a person, you are flexible, organized and able to work independently.
Further qualifications:
- With your good communication skills, you can coordinate and cooperate closely with many different stakeholders to ensure compliance of equipment and systems.
- You have a flair for and interest in technical as well as practical problem solving.
- You are fluent in English.
