We are looking for two Electrical Engineers to join our highly specialised and dedicated engineering team in the Rail Electrification Group of Siemens Mobility, Denmark.
At Siemens Mobility, we deliver transport and logistic solutions to ensure a reliable and sustainable infrastructure. Solutions that can handle the challenges from increasing traffic in the larger cities and airports as a consequence of the rising urbanization.

Right now, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer, to be part of a key organisation within Siemens Mobility; our Rail Electrification Group. In Rail Electrification, we span across power systems, overhead catenary systems and ensure reliability, availability, maintainability and safety on railway systems.
You will join the Traction Power Substation (TPS) Team which is an international engineering group supporting all rail projects within Siemens Mobility. The TPS team consist of power system engineers skilled in HV/MV/LV design, test and commissioning of both AC and DC rail electrification projects.

You will join the Traction Power Substation (TPS) Team which is an international engineering group supporting all rail projects within Siemens Mobility. The TPS team consist of power system engineers skilled in HV/MV/LV design, test and commissioning of both AC and DC rail electrification projects.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Preparing of basic and detailed design for electrical power substations.
- Preparing of technical specifications/data sheets for transformers, cables, switchgears, UPS and etc.
- Coordinate and drive successful deliveries of design documentation.
- Ensure that internal and third-party deliveries are in line with the design.
- Participation on FAT and SAT.
- Maintain a trustful and good relationship with development engineers in Denmark and Germany.
Qualifications
- You hold a bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electric Energy Systems or similar.
- You have at least 3 years proven experience as a full-time designer, or 5 years’ experience from a similar position.
- You have solid designing experience and are able to deal with complex design challenges. Experience on test and commissioning of substations will be a plus.
- Knowledge of different power system simulation tools (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD), also CAD skill will be an advantage (AutoCAD, ELCAD, Eplan).
- You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing. Danish language skills, or an interest in learning the language, is an advantage.
- It will be desirable that you have knowledge in Traction Power Substations, Transformer stations and possibly other railway related fields
