We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Audio & Avionics department within the Self-Protection Systems (SPS) organization in Lystrup. Here, we develop mission-critical electronics and systems for military aircraft as part of our proven Electronic Warfare and Audio solutions. We understand our customers’ domain and harsh environment, and we use established development processes tailored for aerospace to develop highly reliable systems, enabling our customers to meet their objectives.
You will be developing hardware in a team consisting of internal and external team members and together, you will develop circuit card assemblies and systems that will fly on military aircraft (e.g., fighters, transport aircraft and helicopters) throughout the world. You will leverage our existing hardware platforms and be a driving force in further developing our platforms to meet future product and capability roadmaps.
You must be able to take the lead on development tasks, spar with your fellow team members and have an interest in further improving the development processes within our domain, leveraging current civil aerospace standards, such as ARP4754A and DO-254. Previous experience with these standards is not a requirement.
You have a relevant education, i.e., a Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar plus at least 5 years of experience as a hardware developer. Additionally, you can put a checkmark on most of the below:
Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish national security agency. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad and have citizenship from a country that is member of NATO.

Your role and tasks

Your professional qualifications
You have a relevant education, i.e., a Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar plus at least 5 years of experience as a hardware developer. Additionally, you can put a checkmark on most of the below:
- Experience with design of hardware through all the steps of requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and verification
- Experience with high speed, FPGA-based electronics, switch power supplies and/or audio systems
- Experience with hardware-related documentation, e.g., requirement specifications, schematics, test specifications, etc.
- Experience with design for manufacturing
- Experience with product qualification testing, e.g., regarding EMC/EMI conformance
Your personal qualifications
- You are comfortable in a technical leadership role, and it comes natural to you to guide, spar, and set technical direction for others
- You are a team player, and you take pride in communicating actively and acting proactively towards your colleagues and stakeholders
- You respect the formal working processes and have interest in further developing our processes
- You are driven and you actively follow through on your tasks
- You can structure and communicate technical complex solutions clearly and precisely in writing, and you enjoy doing so
- You are well articulated in writing and speaking, as a minimum in English, preferable also in Danish
