Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer at TERMA, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks aimed at advancing our product development and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed electrical engineering tasks for a range of products and projects, ensuring innovative and reliable solutions.
- Conducting thorough circuit analysis using tools like P-Spice to validate and optimize our designs.
- Contributing to the design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs), focusing on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Integrating functional elements such as power supplies, CPUs, I/O, and communication modules into cohesive and efficient systems.
- Ensuring all products comply with relevant standards and norms (e.g., EMC, LVD, ROHS) by developing compliance plans, conducting evaluations, performing tests, and generating comprehensive reports.
- Developing and implementing solutions for products that operate in challenging environments characterized by extreme temperatures, vibrations, and humidity.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including part lists, BOMs, and component information, and ensuring all data is accurately reflected in the ERP system.
- Facilitating the seamless handover of developed units, modules, and products to production, service, and spare parts departments, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer and support.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong educational background, practical experience in electrical engineering, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong qualifications and practical experience in electrical engineering.
- Basic understanding of AC and DC electronics.
- Proficiency in creating circuit designs within low-speed digital and analog design.
- Experience with PCB design and layout.
- Familiarity with standards and norms such as EMC, LVD, and ROHS.
- Ability to develop and execute compliance plans, evaluations, tests, and reports.
- Quality-minded with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about electrical engineering and innovation.
