Become part of a fast growing and innovative company supplying unique and award winning robotic hygiene solutions for the Global Healthcare and Life Science market.
The company - UVD Robots was established in 2016 following a successful co-development project between Odense University Hospital and Blue Ocean Robotics creating the unique UV-Disinfection Robot. Our UV Robots provides efficient and automated disinfection solutions for hospitals and life science customers. Application of UV Robots in hospitals patient and operating rooms save patients’ lives by reducing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI’s) and operational costs for hospitals.
We are pursuing an ambitious strategy for global expansion of UV Robot solutions based on direct sales to reference customers and volume sales by expansion of our network of distributors and sales partners in Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Americas.
As a Service & Application Engineer you will be responsible for installation of UV Robots together with our distributors, including training of distributors technical staff. You will also be responsible for remote customer support in close cooperation with our engineering and product development teams.
The job - You will be reporting to our Senior Service & Application Engineer and your main tasks will be installation, service, and technical support to direct customers and distributors, herein under:
● Installations of UV Robots at customer locations i.e. hospitals, pharma and life-science companies
● Providing supervision and support to installations carried out by distributor’s technical staff
● Telephone, e-mail and skype support to customers and distributors
● Temporary robot installations at exhibitions, events and demonstrations
● Technical training for distributors’ engineering and service teams both on-site and at HQ
The position requires 20 to 30 days of travelling per year and is based at our HQ in Odense, Denmark.
Professional competencies - You have experience in service and support of technical products, preferably from healthcare and life science markets. Further skills required:
● Educational background at Bachelor/Diploma level in computers, electronics, mechatronics, software or equivalent
● Skilled in Linux programming
● Good at communicating with customers’ users and technical staff
● Excellent English skills and preferably Danish
● Analytical and good at problem solving
● Self motivating, structured and productive with a good overview
