Electrical Engineer for international company

At MAKEEN Energy, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer for our office in Randers, Denmark - and it could be a job for you!
You will be employed in our global department for Project Engineering, where you will be part of an experienced and professional team, passionately working to maintain and optimize processes, procedures and tools for project engineering to provide the customers with the best experience. Initially, you will be associated with the business area LNG (liquefied natural gas), where you will be part of a small and passionate team working to develop, sell and project energy solutions for some of the world's largest players in the LNG and LBG (liquefied biogas) industry. Your primary responsibilities
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of controls and electrical installations for our national and international projects and will play an important role in both the sales and project phases. During the sales phase, you will provide technical support to the seller and customer, develop concept drawings, make price calculations, and prepare offers.
During the project phase, you will prepare the final project drawings in accordance with the Machinery Directive, make management descriptions, tender material, and calculations, as well as prepare and compile construction documentation for the project. In collaboration with our purchasing and production department, you will prepare production bases and BOMs, as well as selecting components and suppliers. You will also be involved in the daily coordination with and support for our suppliers of electrical equipment.
LNG being one of our newer business areas, the position involves several development tasks, and you will have the opportunity to greatly influence the chosen solutions. Our project is a process plant and you will be a part of defining the process and to make the associated automation description to be implemented.
Background and qualifications
Since most of your time will be spent on tasks in the project phase, we are looking for a colleague with a sense of structure, details, and quality. You must be able to work with several projects simultaneously and appear welcoming and positive towards colleagues and suppliers, who approach us daily with questions and need for support. Additionally, you have strong organisational skills and work passionately on projects with great communication abilities in both writing and speaking.
As LNG is still in the development phase in many areas, we are looking for a person who can think outside the box and offer ideas for the development of new concept solutions in the sales phase, as well as find technical solutions to problems in the project phase.
Our work environment and management style are characterised by freedom under responsibility, and it is therefore important that you take ownership of your own tasks and can work independently. As we are a global company, intercultural business communication awareness is important when dealing with both colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
We imagine that you are:
- A trained engineer, preferably supplemented with a background as an electrician or electrical technician having worked with controls
- Experienced in major electrical projects with an international context from previous jobs
- Fluent in English in writing and speaking
- Knowledgeable in standards and norms within electricity
- Proactive and engaging
- Inquisitive with a high work ethic
- An experienced user of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
As we work within the project world, there will be days or short periods where we will have to work overtime to execute projects on time. However, we offer great work flexibility in return.

Practical info
The work location is Randers, Denmark, and the work hours are 37 h/week. It is a permanent position, and the start date is as soon as possible. Travel days: Approx. 10-20 days/year.
