For our Turbine Operation & Validation (TOV) Team within Corporate Technology, we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Test Engineer.
In TOV we are handling wind turbine prototypes and test turbines of SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) which means daily operation and validation of the very first turbines of its kind.
As a turbine test engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of a number of prototype- and test turbines in collaboration with your team and you will work closely together with our design engineers and service department.

How to contribute to our vision:
- You will be handling smaller development projects together with the rest of the organization.
- You will perform test, trouble shoot and do root cause analysis on our prototype turbines and evaluating all turbine stops.
- You possess a critical function in terms of reporting all major findings from prototype turbines, following up on findings and making sure we evolve from our learnings.
- You will be analyzing turbine data.
- You will handle daily reporting to management of prototype turbines.
- You will be responsible for turbine error system setup in our prototypes.
- You will be responsible for control & manage software updates and parameters on our prototype turbines in collaboration with the rest of the department.

- A degree in Electrical or Marine and Technical Engineering, preferably combined with practical experience and a thorough knowledge of statistics and MATLAB.
- An analytical, persistent proactive approach to your assignments.
- An understand of the complexity of a large organization and a systematic mindset.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to interface with numerous parties internally as well as externally.
- Excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
