SKOV is investing in air exhaust technology and focus further on motor and EC-drive design, and SKOV therefore seeks a power engineer (BSc/MSc) with knowhow and experience within this field.
Over the last few years, SKOV has successfully developed several fan systems, based on axial fans, which have obtained considerable recognition within our industry. The fan product portfolio area is expected to become an even more significant part of our business.
You will be part of our dedicated “SKOV Fan Factory Team” with focus on the power related areas, which includes cooperation with Product Management, internal specialists, procurement and customer support.

Your work will be a mix of:
- new concepts – higher performance - lower energy consumption – lower product cost
- close cooperation with our partners, sub-suppliers, external specialists and knowledge institutions
- product specifications – electrical and mechanical
- regulatory requirements/directives/approvals - general and local
- product specification test and system performance test - internal test lab facility – define, assist and conclude
- field test at farmers – define, plan, execute and conclude
- 3rd level customer support
To be successful in your job, we expect that you:
- are a trained engineer having at least five years’ experience in working with AC-/PM-motors, and detailed knowledge about the appertaining specification and performance parameters.
- have a thorough knowledge of the causes and solutions to achieve high and stable product performance together with the existing power grids worldwide, interoperability between worldwide power grid configurations and EC-drives/VFDs including usage of power line filters and RCDs.
- have an analytical approach; you are structured and have an aptitude for multidisciplinary cooperation
- are innovative and see possibilities that accommodate both the customer’s and SKOV’s business.
- are fluent in spoken and written English.
