Would you like to kickstart or further develop your career in safety? Do you get energy from performing in-depth safety analysis and documenting the safety of important changes?

We are looking for a CBTC Safety Engineer to ensure that changes to the signaling system maintain the high level of safety and obtain the necessary approvals. You will work closely with project teams and approval bodies to ensure the safe implementation of the proposed changes.

Welcome to the CBTC Project Team In the coming years, DSB will upgrade the S-bane network with new rolling stock and infrastructural changes to create a driverless railway. This will increase frequency, capacity, and flexibility. Our existing Communication-Based Train Control Signaling System (CBTC) is being modified to support driverless operation.

The CBTC project is part of the Future S-network program (FS) and is responsible for specifying, procuring, securing, and introducing the changes in the signaling system. This is done through a step-by-step migration while the existing operation continues.

Our dynamic and international project team consists of around a dozen people and is set to grow to support the project's delivery phase.

In the Future S-network program, you will join around 200 colleagues, who are enthusiastic about creating the future of public transportation in Greater Copenhagen.

“In our team, we combine job satisfaction with professional development. We value open feedback and support each other in improving our skills,"
- says Safety & Approval Manager Alexander.

Before you go home, you follow up on ongoing safety cases and prepare the next steps in the approval process.
