Business Finance Analyst, Group FP&A

Joining Finance and Performance Management, you will become part of a global finance organisation consisting of close to 200 employees – working to continuously optimise business performance across the VELUX Group through fact based support in proximity to the business.

Your challenges

In this role, you will join the Group FP&A team, located at our head office in Hørsholm. The primary responsibility of the FP&A team is to ensure fact based management information and insights for decision making at Group/Regional level. Partnering up with various parts of the organisation, the FP&A team is responsible for tracking, assessing and reporting corporate performance to top management.

In this position, you will refer to the Finance Manager, Group FP&A, whose responsibility lies within Group financial planning, including yearly Group level target setting, development and reporting of KPIs, financial support on strategic initiatives as well as reporting of monthly financial performance to the VELUX Management Group.

Specifically, in this role your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

• Create monthly financial performance reporting for top management and our Board of Directors.
• Support the financial planning including the yearly target setting.
• Development and reporting of operational and strategic KPIs connected to our annual performance wheel.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of the VELUX business, including external and internal performance benchmarking analysis.
• Act as a finance business partner on strategic projects across the VELUX Group including business case calculations.

Your qualifications

You are a well-rounded performer with a strategic mind-set and strong analytical capabilities, who thrive at the prospect of providing high-quality value adding insights. Your strong points are your financial toolbox and your ability to link business strategy with performance management. You are thorough and quality-conscious and possess business acumen. Similarly, stakeholder management comes naturally to you and you find the prospect of collaborating with stakeholders across different nationalities and cultures intriguing.

Moreover, you:

• Hold a relevant master’s degree in business administration, economics or finance with solid
• You have 2-3 years of experience from a similar job, e.g. as an analyst or business controller at a global company or from consultancy.
• Have a thorough understanding of financial management and the relations between finance, strategy, and performance management.
• Have excellent analytical skills, understand trends and are able to develop insights and prepare recommendations.
• Are able to communicate and collaborate across all levels through the organisation.
• Have a good English proficiency level.
