Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. This is done by setting boundaries for risk and by providing relevant information to all stakeholders.

What we do and your future responsibilities
Nordea Investment Management has a significant number of assets under management, e.g. handled via mandates, UCITS- and AIF funds, and the most effective way to mitigate risk is to collate the management of this into a single system. For this we have our main system, SimCorp Dimension, and this is used in conjunction with other IT solutions and ongoing process improvements.
In this job there is a need to work with an agile mindset to support new initiatives and requirements in both NIM and the business, such as new markets, financial instruments and products. In Limit Solutions and Support we are a part of the Risk Management function. Our core business is to safeguard assets for our clients, by setting up investment restriction limits in Dimension, making sure that our products are managed within the given guidelines - which derive from legislation, prospectus and client requirements. Furthermore, we are also supporting our investment organisation in i.e. pre-trade situations when needed.
