To further strengthen our global MES Powerhouse, we are looking for Laboratory IT Consultants with a background in the life sciences industry.

NNIT Production & Lab IT is a fast-growing business area where we are applying latest technologies to improve pharmaceutical production processes. Our international team of Laboratory IT consultants works on local as a well as on global MES programs with the mission to improve manufacturing process by digitalization.

Your responsibilities:

You will join our European Laboratory IT team as a Business Analyst or LIMS Specialist. Depending on your experience you will be strongly involved in the analysis of current laboratory processes in QC and R&D and transform them into digitalized processes. You will be involved in assignments covering all or some of the IT / Digital solution lifecycle: analysis, implementation, operations, and retirement.

It is important for us that you continuously develop both personally and professionally. Therefore, we focus on your skills through interesting assignments, relevant professional training programs and personal development plans.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Degree (or similar) in Engineering, Science or IT
• Sound understanding of life sciences modalities, pharmaceutical product lifecycle and value-chain
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry
• Sound understanding of GxP
• Hand-on experience working with Laboratory software applications and associated troubleshooting / problem solving (end-user, superuser or system administrator)
• Understanding of IT fundamentals (network, application, OS, REST APIs)
• Understanding of IT/OT manufacturing architecture (ISA-95)
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Experience in working with QC / R&D Lab staff and IT support / SMEs
• Comfortable learning new solutions and methods as part of daily work

As a Business Analyst you should also have:

• Experience in evaluating IT solutions for fitness-for-purpose (vendor selection, fit-gap assessments)
• Experience writing user and functional specifications, and/or user stories
• Understanding of laboratory instruments and techniques and data types
• Experience with master data definition and entry in Laboratory solutions e.g., LIMS
• Experience in specification and configuration of recipes, workflows, procedures in Laboratory solutions, LIMS/LES, CDS, instrument SCADA, etc.
• Experience writing procedures and preparing training materials, and holding training sessions
• Knowledge of workshop facilitation and design thinking methods and tools
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile project methodologies

We are hiring into our European team in the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, and Spain.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (German, Danish, Italian, Spanish or French) is desired.

Travel must be expected, but will be kept to necessary business trips.
