Your new department
As our new Technical Manager located in Vilnius, you will be part of the Technical Asset Management team located in Denmark, which consists of four engineers and a student assistant. You will also be working in close collaboration with the Commercial Asset Management Lithuanian team in Vilnius and the rest of the office there, which is in total 17 people. The Vilnius office has been newly refurbished and has a pleasant working atmosphere.
Your new role
Our Solar Technical Asset Management Team is responsible for the technical management of our renewable energy projects of photovoltaic plants in South America and Europe. Our main goal is to optimize our operating assets with a focus on production, revenue, relevant preventive maintenance, effective incidence response, and compliance on behalf of institutional investors or European Energy itself as IPP (Independent Power Producer).
As our new Technical Asset Manager, you will be technically responsible for our solar farms in Lithuania. You will oversee the daily operation of a portfolio of PV assets and you will handle day-to-day technical activities, monitor service and reporting, as well as ensuring technical optimization and stakeholder management at multiple levels.
European Energy has a significant project development pipeline in Lithuania and expects to have 78 MW of solar plants operating assets in Lithuania during 2023 increasing to about 1 GW in 2026.

We are looking for you, who has an analytical mindset, a natural curiosity to constantly optimize our operating assets, and creativity to improve the status quo. You know the details of the projects’ contracts and can keep a holistic overview of your assets.
You have an eye to see if issues may arise and effectively act on them, based on your technical and data-driven approach. And you find it natural to spar with your team and involve relevant stakeholders to continuously ensure the optimal production of the wind farms.

Salary Level Lithuania: 4000 – 5000 EUR gross per month depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- You will supervise and optimize the operation of a portfolio of solar farms located in Lithuania on behalf of institutional investors.
- You will ensure positive relationship management between investors and third-party contractors, such as maintenance providers, technical experts, grid operators, electricity traders, and power suppliers.
- You are responsible for the technical OPEX budget and technical optimization through data analysis and KPI management.
- You coordinate and maintain compliance with the project construction and operational contracts, local permits, environmental and legislative requirements.
- You contribute to internal Business Case development and Technical Asset Management Department strategic tasks.
Your Profile:
- 3 to 5 years of work experience, ideally with trackable experience with Renewable Energy power plants’ operations, maintenance, and/or reporting activities.
- You hold a Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s degree in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
- You are confident working with Microsoft Office tools
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and English.
- You have a driver's license.
- You will be able to travel to HQ, Denmark monthly to meet with your team.
