European Energy´s construction activities are growing rapidly, and to support the management and stakeholders with improved performance measurement, we aim to strengthen the FP&A team. Currently, European Energy Group has construction activities in 9 countries with a total capital expenditure of approximately DKK 7 billion. This activity is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
The FP&A Department aims to strengthen the forward-looking financial management of European Energy, such as long-term financial planning, financial analysis and evaluation of strategic alternatives, financial forecasting and reporting on solar and wind projects, target setting, defining company capital structure and raising of equity, etc.
Furthermore, the FP&A team reports directly to the management team and is responsible for the Group's investor relations with investors in the Group’s listed bonds.
You will work from our headquarters in Copenhagen in an international environment and be part of an established team of around 10 people, of which 4 people are responsible for tracking and budgeting DevEx, CapEx, and liquidity planning for the European Energy Group.

As a Financial Analyst, you will work with analysis, forecasting, and reporting of pipeline progression, development expenditure (“DevEx”), capital expenditure (“CapEx”) and liquidity for a set of projects, countries, or the Group.

Your New Role- Accelerate your Career
As a Financial Analyst, you will work with analysis, forecasting, and reporting of pipeline progression, development expenditure (“DevEx”), capital expenditure (“CapEx”) and liquidity for a set of projects, countries, or the Group.

Key Responsibilities Include
For renewable energy projects in various markets, you will collaborate with various people across the organization regarding the following:

- Develop 1-year bottom-up financial forecasts for renewable projects with a focus on DevEx and CapEx and pipeline progression
- Analyse and prepare commercially oriented and actionable reporting for DevEx and CapEx spend and realized pipeline progression.
- Draw down funds from project financing banks to fund construction activities
- Participate in the preparation of the monthly bottom-up Group liquidity forecast
- Help prepare country reporting and group reporting on Devex and Capex
- Contribute to ongoing professionalizing of business procedures
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and projects to support critical business decisions
To Thrive in this Job, We Imagine That
- You have relevant experience in planning positions, preferably 2-4 years in a FP&A or business finance team
- You have a relevant degree in Finance or similar
- You are proficient with Excel models, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
- You know basic accounting rules
- You are fluent in Danish and English
