Key responsibilities

As a Global Rewards Partner, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from the People & Culture organization across regions delivering meaningful and engaging rewards programs that provide a great rewards experience for Svitzer’s employees.

The key responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping global rewards principles and strategy.
  • Define and build rewards capabilities in the organization in line with the People strategy to achieve key business priorities.
  • Design and manage rewards policies and programs, such as short-term and long-term incentive plans, aligning them with our strategic business objectives.
  • Drive and ensure the development of competitive total remuneration, including sourcing market insights and developing effective data analytics to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the global talent team to develop and deploy job evaluation methods and remuneration structures.
  • Provide expert advice to the business and global People & Culture organization to ensure effective and quality rewards decision.
  • Support the annual calendar of the company’s Remuneration Committee on select topics.
  • Partner with the global People & Culture organization on deploying and utilizing HRIS systems to support annual reward processes and build ongoing rewards insights.
  • Embed the global framework and governance to ensure consistent structure and process in managing core rewards programs, thereby ensuring compliance and creating a great rewards experience.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate for the role most likely has some of the following characteristics:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in rewards, including at least 2-3 years in an international business environment and/or a large-scale matrix organization.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing rewards solutions in close partnership with colleagues in People & Culture as well as business leaders.
  • Strong ownership mentality, result orientation, and strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities and skills to drive meaningful change, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on creating rewards solutions.
  • Strong project management, planning, and change management skills across multiple geographies.
  • Experience in implementing an HRIS system to best support the annual salary review cycle and/or global benefits program is an advantage.
  • Experience in executive compensation, particularly supporting Remuneration Committee work is a plus, but not a requirement.

This position is based at Svitzer’s head office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen but works closely with the wider global organisation.
