Asset Management Specialist within Renewables

As a Renewable Asset Management Specialist with European Energy, you have a chance to work with Wind and Solar PV systems in our international portfolio of assets, which includes improving and complying with projects and solving operational challenges.

The Team
The Asset Management department consists of 92 colleagues, based in Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, the UK, and Brazil. We are responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of power-producing assets, offering asset management services for both internal and externally owned assets, and providing power sales services.
You will be part of the team called ‘Asset Management Functional Support & Change’. The main purpose of the team is to deliver project- and department-overarching services in line with the strategic direction of the Asset Management department to ascertain our plants’ long-term quality and performance. Among others, we are working on standards for service contracts, procedures, and feedback to the organization, and we do cross-portfolio performance analysis.

Key responsibilities include
- Project managing and guiding by experience in Asset Management strategy groups and software tool evaluation
- Plants’ performance analysis
- Improving and creating procedures
- Improving and creating standard service provider contracts
- Monitoring technological developments
- Governance within Asset Management and interfaces with other departments
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have the following competencies
- You have 5+ years of relevant experience as a Renewable Energy plant Manager, preferably with a technical focus
- You have been educated at the University’s level of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
- You have Technical or Commercial experience from energy industries connected to Wind, PV, Power to Gas, or battery technologies
- You are proficient in English, oral and written, and another European language, preferably Danish, German, or Romanian
