Your new team

You will be part of our Project Development department which handles the development of our renewable energy projects globally.

The Asset Project Management Office (APMO) is a newly established team in Project Development. The team currently consists of four colleagues who have solid experience in project management and portfolio analyses of renewable energy projects.

The team's purpose is to define and maintain best practices for project development across the portfolio, both through portfolio-level analysis and support and project-specific involvement during late development. The team has a strong mandate to support that purpose.

How you will create an impact

As our new Portfolio Analyst, you will particularly focus on maintaining a comprehensive overview of the business portfolio of solar, wind, PtX, and BESS projects. You will compile project-specific data into portfolio views by data analyses and project-specific assessments of data accuracy.

You will be a super user in our internal project management tool (PLC), and you will drive the prioritization of system updates and work with IT to implement them. You will analyze big data from PLC and prepare presentations of key messages and project progress that can be shared with the management team and other relevant internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with Project- and Country Managers globally to manage project portfolios, and you will also have many other internal interfaces and stakeholders in the organisation.

To thrive in this role we imagine you have the following competencies

• You have 1-3 years of relevant experience from similar project portfolio analysis, collecting and handling of big data sets, and presentation of data
• You are an advanced user of Excel and a solid user of PowerPoint
• You have a basic understanding of IT coding languages and can discuss functionalities with your colleagues in the IT department
• You have some experience in project planning, project management, and project management models within the renewable energy sector
• You are fully proficient in English, oral and written
• You have completed a Bachelor’s or a Master’s at the university level or an equivalent institution within Business Administration, Engineering, or similar

As a person, you are analytical-minded and thrive working with big data sets. You are engaged by taking the responsibility of collecting the data, having the full overview, and deep-diving into specifics too, when needed, to ensure high data quality.

You are driven by understanding the underlying rationale behind the data and enjoy discussing this with the Project Managers on the respective Renewable Energy projects. Moreover, you find satisfaction in finding the relevant information in the portfolio data and preparing presentations of key messages to the leadership team.
