Group Finance Power Solutions Finance VSP Finance - TS, PM, DC
You will join Group VPS Finance, which is part of Vestas' Global Finance organisation. We are responsible for business partnering to the Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) ensuring objective and transparent decision making by delivering excellent performance reporting, creating and following up on business cases and analysis to relevant stakeholders.
We drive performance culture by ensuring ambitious and realistic target setting and keeping stakeholders accountable for targets and ensuring that root cause counter measures are implemented. We are structured in a Business Partner setup, where we are part of functional management teams across Power Solutions and have the responsibility for all financial support including:

Group Finance Power Solutions Finance VSP Finance - TS, PM, DC
You will join Group VPS Finance, which is part of Vestas' Global Finance organisation. We are responsible for business partnering to the Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) ensuring objective and transparent decision making by delivering excellent performance reporting, creating and following up on business cases and analysis to relevant stakeholders.
We drive performance culture by ensuring ambitious and realistic target setting and keeping stakeholders accountable for targets and ensuring that root cause counter measures are implemented. We are structured in a Business Partner setup, where we are part of functional management teams across Power Solutions and have the responsibility for all financial support including:
- Department budget follow up
- Project controlling of Vestas' Turbine development projects
- Calculating product business cases and analysis of the commercial value created
- Further we report on the profitability on the different product segments and facilitate that adequate actions are taken when needed
This provides a unique opportunity to get exposure in many Business Performance Management disciplines as well as strategic support.
Responsibilities
Your primary area of responsibility:
- Act as business partner towards several of the module teams in VPS, each responsible for a module of the wind turbine
- Responsible for full financial module support, follow up on department budgets, project controlling and business case calculation
- Responsible for profitability reporting on our product segments and enforce mitigating actions are initiated when required
- Drive calculation of product business cases to enforce the right decisions regarding future product strategy and competitiveness
- Prepare and present financial analysis to senior management in Vestas Power Solution
Qualifications
To succeed with the above-mentioned responsibilities, we envision that you have:
- An educational background (on M.Sc. level) within Finance or similar relevant combined with 5+ years’ experience in a role as Financial/Commercial Business Partner, Strategic Finance, Consultant, etc
- Experience working in a high paced environment with multiple stakeholders at all corporate levels
- Experience in presenting complex analytics to senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Super user in Excel and Power Point - experience in SAP, SAP BI suite is perceived a benefit, but not a prerequisite if you have great IT and System Skills
- Proficiency in English, written and verbally
