What to Expect

As the Finance Operations Specialist you will join the Tesla Operations team, supporting sales, delivery and operational efforts. You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations and the behind the scenes activities that support vehicle sales and deliveries in your market across both new and used cars. Your role is crucial for helping our customers to get the best sales to delivery journey experience and for our finance partners to have great collaboration with Tesla. In this role you will be key person to ensure fast cash collection, timey refunds and overall AR health in your market.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure smooth and seamless operational processes related to financing for Tesla customers.
  • Serve as the main local point of contact for financial institutions, banks, and preferred Tesla partners. Constantly review metrics and operational performance of financial partners, identify areas of improvement, and work towards automation, process simplification, and excellent customer service.
  • Manage daily pipeline of operational tasks related to vehicle financing and ensure accurate and timely collection of documents for payments and contract activation.
  • Control Accounts Receivable and Collections from all revenue streams in the market for all types of customers (retail & enterprise) and resolve funding delay cases within assigned SLA timelines.
  • Collaborate with Financial Services, Funding, Order Operations, and other central teams to improve processes and customer/internal journeys.
  • Ensure education to finance partners on payment, remittance, refunds processes and educate Sales and Delivery organization on finance processes.
  • Manage pipelines and ensure smooth processes for local billing, incentives submissions, refunds, cancellations and revenue recognition.

What You’ll Bring

  • Administrative, operational experience preferred
  • Superior attention to details together with ability to execute fast on high volume of repetitive tasks is a must
  • Knowledge of automotive finance principles beneficial
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • Great problem solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Positivity, enthusiasm and a passion towards the mission of Tesla
  • Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English and Danish on all levels
  • Have the required language skills if required by our local markets
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
