You will be working in a team consisting of 7 dedicated employees, of which three are located in Ireland. The members of the team are all specialists within their areas – hereof a indirect tax controller and a VAT specialist which you will work in close collaboration with.
Responsibility
Your key tasks will be the following:
Depending on the task at hand you will work closely together with tax colleagues, colleagues from the business or as the main responsible. You will be reporting to the Head of Global Tax.
Qualifications
We are looking for a VAT specialist who enjoys working with external and internal stakeholders in a solution oriented way. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
You have a relevant academic degree in law, finance or accounting combined with minimum 3 years of working experience within the VAT and other indirect tax area.

- Provide indirect tax advice to the businesses on day-to-day operational matters
- Ensure efficient and compliant indirect tax processes
- Assist with system set-up to ensure indirect tax compliance
- Handle or assist in in VAT audits and information requests, including energy consumption taxes
- Assist and handle integration of mergers and acquisitions

Qualifications
We are looking for a VAT specialist who enjoys working with external and internal stakeholders in a solution oriented way. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
- Professional experience with indirect taxes from in-house position in a global company, tax advisory or similar.
- Knowledge within customs and consumption taxes
- You can challenge our existing processes and optimize them further. LEO Pharma A/S is embarking on a digital journey, why the ideal candidate will also have an interest for the various technical solutions.
- Team player who enjoys working cross functional
- Structured and analytical
- Strong communication skills (English and Danish)
- Experienced user of Excel
- Flair for and interest in navigating through systems, e.g. SAP which is our ERP system
