Due to a promotion, we are looking for a Finance Specialist to support our Finance Manager. The role might not look as the typical role, but we promise you can look forward to a broad and challenging position. You will be part of a team of eight experienced employees, where four are working with Accounting. You will report to our Finance Manager, and the role does not have people responsibility.
Become part of a department under development
You get work across the department's areas of responsibility and must therefore be in control of the many facets that the accounting and finance require.
Your primary tasks will be to problem solve and support the accounting team within the following areas: The tasks of the accounting team range widely and include e.g. bookkeeping of records, reconciliation of monthly and quarterly accounts, preparation of reporting to U.S. headquarters, internal controls (SOX) and various sub-tasks of the accounting department with collaboration across the organization.
Individually, you will be responsible for: Cash flow planning & reporting and our internal audits. Furthermore, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks, both as contributor and as responsible.
As a company and as a department, we are in a transition phase, which means that new tasks are coming and alternative solutions must be found for current tasks. It is therefore necessary to want to take on new tasks where there is a need for momentum. You are responsible for operating and expanding the existing work procedures, but would also like to contribute to ongoing optimization projects.
There is contact with many stakeholders both internally and externally, and you are therefore outreach and outgoing.

Broad problem solver profile in accounting
• Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience from auditing or accountant / finance position with a broad exposure to the financial disciplines.
• You have a relevant educational background, e.g. HD-r.
• You have a structured approach to problem solving.
• You can work as a professional sparring partner in the department.
• You are analytical and can communicate your message in a concise manner.
• You are able to maintain an overview in a busy department and are able to see opportunities for optimization in a changing company.
• You master IT at user level, the Office suite (Excel), and Danish and English in writing and speaking.
• It is a clear advantage if you have knowledge of SAP.
