Responsible for supporting financial planning and analytics and will be key role within the Finance team, partnering with the Marine Technology Management team to achieve strategic objectives and financial results.

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for the build, integration and maintenance of reliable reporting and analytics. You will also support the development standard financial planning practices, across various business segments.

Job description


  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting, by assisting in the consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of actuals, budgets, and forecasts for the full set of financials
  • Working with regional, cross-functional teams to prepare detailed variance analysis and pricing reporting
  • Develop and refine internal reports for tracking financial performance for key decision makers; identify business correction opportunities to positively impact results
  • Development and ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual executive presentation materials
  • Develop and improve commercial revenue & margin forecasting processes and accuracy metrics to measure the performance of the business and drive success
  • Partner with the business to ensure spending is managed, continuously identifying areas of opportunity to support business growth. Manage related monthly close process and reporting.
  • Manage department reporting calendar, confirming deadlines and process are in place to ensure adherence to corporate deadlines
  • Act as department SME for financial reporting tools
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
  • Marine Technology is a global business; some travel may be required

Education & Experience


  • University Degree
  • 8+ years work experience in Financial planning & analysis
  • Fluent in English (additional language skills an advantage)
  • Experience of working in an international company with global remote offices
  • Professional qualification preferred (CFA)
