We are looking for a business consultant ready to share and grow
You will be part of a team in IT Finance with up to 10 colleagues, where the majority are employed in the city of Herning and some at our location in Warsaw. We have a positive atmosphere and a willingness to share knowledge and support. We work in an agile environment with daily scrum meetings. This way we all keep close to the work at hand and secure involvement and progress.
The department IT Finance delivers and maintains IT systems supporting the financial management and financial regulatory reporting of the banks.
BEC is embarking on a transformation of existing solutions into a new technological platform. Based on our product strategy and the finance analysis conducted in 2020 in cooperation with our clients, IT Finance is now looking into a strong focus to execute on our new Enterprise Finance Platform (EFP). EFP is a long-term-strategy helping our customers to future-proof their financial and accounting functions.
Collaboration and agile principles are the base for our work environment, and we have a respectful dialogue about possibilities, demands, and expectations.
In this position you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on a highly specialized area, which has influence on financial management and reporting within the financial sector. At the same time, you can test your communicative and relationship-building competencies both internally in BEC and externally to our customers.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as business consultant, you will work closely with Danish customers in order to define their needs. The department interacts with a lot of other departments in BEC, and you will have stakeholders both internally and externally. It is your responsibility to facilitate the dialogue with all the stakeholders in a professional way.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
Handbooks, meetings and communication with our customers are in Danish. Therefore, you are fluent in writing and speaking Danish. Our business langue internally is English.

You have a degree in economics and accounting and deep experience from the financial sector as well as knowledge of the end-to-end processes of financial management and reporting in a financial institution.

- Handling incidents and business support
- Acting as a sparring partner for the business area with your colleagues in the team
- Facilitating meetings, presentations and workshops
- Creating and maintaining documentation and user handbooks
- Clarifying and aligning expectations and needs of our customers in cooperation with your team’s product owner
- Prioritizing and breaking down features into user stories and defining acceptance criteria with the product owner
- Working closely with the developers and technicians on building, implementing and testing the right solutions for financial management and reporting
