About the department
Our ambition is to be the best costumer-focused Business Support delivering sustainable results on core processes through collaboration across the organisation. You will join a team of 14 dedicated colleagues in Hillerød, Denmark. The department consists of a diverse group handling everything from Finance, Business Intelligence, Project Portfolio Management, EHS, Training, LEAN and IT to Business Development and Strategy. We support all areas of Device Manufacturing Development - a project-organisation comprising more than 250 dedicated employees striving to be the best manufacturing development partner of medical devices end to end.
The position
You will be an integrated part of the team from day one and become well acquainted with some of our core processes and development activities supporting the organisation by handling complexity and enable business transparency. You will get the opportunity to experience many exiting challenges, among others:
- Working as a Junior Project Manager
- Provide new input and view on recurrent tasks.
- Research and information gathering
- Making presentations for the management team
- Reporting tasks
- Arranging meetings and workshops
In the position, you will communicate with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, which will provide you with a large network in the organization. We are a data-driven team, so it is therefore important that you are also comfortable dealing with data. Importantly, there will also be general administrative and ad-hoc tasks. The right candidate will have plenty of opportunities to influence the projects he/she will be involved in.
As an intern, you will have weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager. These sessions will not only help you find your way around the department and your tasks during the internship, but also educate you and develop your professional abilities in the processes and framework of a regulated industry like Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will develop your future career skills throughout your internship with opportunities to enrol in different kinds of activities and courses. Novo Nordisk also has a large student community within which you can expand your network and meet similarly passionate interns and students.
This internship is in an excellent position to begin a career within Novo Nordisk. Our preferred setup is listed below:
•Internship period: 6 months with the possibility to extend
•Working hours: 37 hours a week with the possibility to take vacation during the internship
•Start date: 1 January 2020
•Salary: 12,000 DKK/month (plus company pension contribution)
•A Danish full-time work permit is required for those residing outside Denmark
Qualifications
We are looking for Interns who are passionate about problem solving and teamwork. We are seeking students in their first or second year of their Master studies. What counts is that you are an outgoing person with strong personal drive and analytical mindset. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment, and bring a "can-do" attitude and a healthy sense of humour to work. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. As we are a global company and an international team, fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
