Take lead in driving and further developing our Compensation & Benefits strategy globally

As Senior Specialist, you will be strategically and tactically responsible within this area.

As Senior Specialist, Global Compensation & Benefits, you enjoy the diversity in your assignments – you both get energy from data crunching behind your computer. But also, from presenting your findings in front of top management and discussing and concluding how your initiatives have brought value to the organisation. In all, you master both the analytical, detail-oriented tasks as well as the proactive, sociable stakeholder activities.

You will take the entire responsibility for the Compensation & Benefits area driving processes and execute them in detail. You will also have great collaborations with local professionals and share knowledge and competencies.


Many exciting responsibilities


  • Lead ALKs global compensation strategy as well as continuous improvement of existing programs such as bonus plans and incentives
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President for HR and executive team to ensure our programs align with our strategic objectives and support our culture
  • Work directly with management and global HR to provide expert guidance and consultation in making informed compensation decisions by delivering decisions supported by research, analysis, data, tools and structures related to compensation and classification.
  • Able to advise and challenge senior management on all issues relating to Compensation & Benefits
  • React and innovate to changing business and market realities, by being updated on the latest market knowledge, including recent tax inferences particularly in relation to Compensation & Benefits
  • Maintain and develop the capabilities in the global HR community around Compensation & Benefits and at the same time ensure line managers understand and execute according to guidelines
  • Ensure our governance structure for global mobility and social security in Europe


Skilled communicator and scientifically strong background


As Senior Specialist we expect you to have the following experiences and competencies:

Education:

  • Academic background, i.e. a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or similar is required as a minimum
  • Trained in at least one position evaluation methodology

Experience:

  • 7- 10 years of solid HR experience as Senior Human Resources Specialist within Comp & Ben, in an international environment

Skills and competences:

  • Ability to translate a strategic intent to practical and concrete terms, ensuring transparency and to contextualise best practice
  • Ability to identify and work with different agendas, have strong analytical skills, are detail oriented as well as you have a strong business understanding
  • Possess hands-on implementation experience and are trained in evaluation methodology
  • React and innovate to changing business and market realities by being updated on the latest market knowledge, including recent tax inferences particularly in relation to Compensation & Benefits
  • Having strong project management and communication skills
