Are you the Compliance Manager with strong experience from handling end-to-end certification processes involving many stakeholders? For our client LED iBond, INCIPIA is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager for the Projects team, who will play a central, important role in handling the certification processes and compliance.
This role belongs to Product Development and reports directly to the Product Development Director, who is part of the management team. This role is overall responsible for the certifications of the complete solutions/products portfolio of LED iBond.
LED iBond is on a significant growth journey utilizing its unique solution portfolio. The Compliance Manager will play a significant role in this journey by ensuring LED iBond products are being developed and manufactured in compliance with relevant directives and international standards, thus reducing entry barriers into the markets.

The role as Compliance Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end certification and compliance processes related to LED iBond’s product launches.
The right candidate already has significant experience with certification from either a manufacturing and/or development company. The professional experiences comprise:
The right candidate has an engineering degree (Min. BSc or similar) from Electro Engineering. Perhaps with a hands-on installation training.

Objective of the role
The role as Compliance Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end certification and compliance processes related to LED iBond’s product launches.
Primary responsibilities
- Identifying standards and requirements required for LED iBond’s product portfolio (EMC, safety, radio, environment etc)
- Developing documentation for the certification process.
- Owning, administering and optimising the certification process.
- Identifying and choosing test facilities.
- Following up on on-going certification processes
- Monitoring compliance, identifying and report compliance issues.
- Educating & training internal and external manufacturing teams in compliance-related topics.
- Contact and dialogue with relevant authorities regarding interpretation of standards. Participation in peer groups/networks regarding certification.
- Knowledge sharing of relevant information to Sales & Sales Support.
About you
Professional experiences
The right candidate already has significant experience with certification from either a manufacturing and/or development company. The professional experiences comprise:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with certification processes.
- Solid knowledge to national and international directives and standards such as preferably WEEE, RoHS, EMC and LVD. If the experience comes from working with lighting solutions and electronic components it is an advantage but not compulsory.
- Experience with electro-technical measuring and testing methods as well as problem solving.
- Experience in working with Inspection and Certification Providers such as Intertek and UL
- Experience with technical training of production crews.
Educational background
The right candidate has an engineering degree (Min. BSc or similar) from Electro Engineering. Perhaps with a hands-on installation training.

- Interested in learning more – and great at teaching/mentoring/guiding others.
- Fluent in speaking and writing in both one of the Scandinavian languages and English.
