Business analyst, Integrations for Logistics

Improve DFDS’s business with your analytics skills
In DFDS we want to accelerate our digital offerings towards our strategically important customers. The offerings span from digital booking creation to post-booking services. We want to accelerate this journey even further and therefore we need you.
As our new integrations BA, you will be joining a team of 7 highly motivated colleagues. You will have a wide range of touchpoints throughout the organization including local management, internal system users, integration developers and at the same time you will also be communicating with external customers.
You will report to the Team Lead of the Logistics BA’s and be based at DFDS Headquarters in Copenhagen.
Main responsibilities
In the role as BA, you are the bridge between our customers and our internal developers. You will focus on the need and design the optimal solution for both the customer and DFDS.
More specifically your main responsibilities include:

We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with communication protocols such as AS2, Https and FTP. It’s a big advantage if you also possess knowledge about how Http based API integrations work.
As the tasks often involve many different colleagues and externals you also need to have strong stakeholder management skills.
Further:
Through your structured and process-oriented personality and technical mindset you are able to navigate in complex discussions. This combined with your analytical approach and good communication skills you ensure high quality solutions for both the customer and DFDS.

- Analyzing process and data flow between the customer and DFDS
- Design the desired integration solution.
- Testing the integration solution during development
- Support during the implementation of the integration
- Supporting the running solutions
What we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with communication protocols such as AS2, Https and FTP. It’s a big advantage if you also possess knowledge about how Http based API integrations work.
As the tasks often involve many different colleagues and externals you also need to have strong stakeholder management skills.
Further:
- We imagine you are newly graduated or have 1-2 years’ experience from a similar position.
- You have a degree within IT or Business were a conceptual understanding of system integration and API’s is an advantage.
- Equally as important are your communication skills, as you translate business needs and user requests into IT solutions.
- SQL is highly relevant in this field, so if you have knowledge of this technology it will also be an advantage.
- You are a pro-active team player, as DFDS creates innovative solutions based on strong internal collaboration.
- Fluent in English as DFDS is an international company.
