Vestas CEO Sales Commercial Management
The Commercial Management department within Global Development is responsible for the profitable management and growth of this strategic business area. It supports deal teams on project level with financial analysis, as well as commercial and technical solutions to drive project optimisation and investment decisions. As such, this young department contributes to the success of the Global Development department in an entrepreneurial environment working closely together with various global functions as well as with the regional development teams responsible for originating and developing new wind projects across the globe.
Responsibilities
As Global Development Analyst you will join a small, fast-paced, analytical team with global reach and broad scope reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Management. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, extroverted all-rounder with superior analytical and communication abilities. A high degree of professionalism and autonomy in handling senior internal and external stakeholders is expected.

Responsibilities

A high degree of professionalism and autonomy in handling senior internal and external stakeholders is expected.
Tasks typically include:
- Preparation of financial models for project evaluations
- Support the regional development teams on deal level with technical and commercial analyses
- Support with strategic analyses for the Global Development organisation
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders in relation to development projects
- Support with ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests
- Preparation of presentation material for executive management decision making
Qualifications
- Master's level degree with focus on quantitative analysis (e.g. Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.)
- Top performer in your class
- 1 to 3 years of experience from a large international company would be preferred
- Renewable energy industry experience is an asset but not required
- Strong in quantitative analysis with excellent Excel skills

- Highly analytical with a holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Quick learner who can adapt to a complex and dynamic business model
- Ability to transform complex (financial) analyses into clear conclusions and recommendations

- Able to build strong relationships and clearly communicate within a matrix setup of global function
