As our new Business Analyst, you play an important role in guiding the Business on improvements related to Ramboll’s IT dependent opportunities and problems related to processes, products, services and integrations. Moreover, your will be a key player in transforming the identified improvements into well-defined IT Project Requests, thus paving the way for successful IT project execution and delivery that adds value to Ramboll.

You will join our IT Projects department
As our new Business Analyst, you play an important role in guiding the Business on improvements related to Ramboll’s IT dependent opportunities and problems related to processes, products, services and integrations. Moreover, your will be a key player in transforming the identified improvements into well-defined IT Project Requests, thus paving the way for successful IT project execution and delivery that adds value to Ramboll.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Perform initial, pre-project assessment of business requirements and translate into functional specifications and business cases
- Assist Business in collating the pre-project analysis results into IT Project Requests
- Recommend/advise on appropriate technology to the Business based on requirements and needs early on
- Set and manage Business expectations
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Support Functions to ensure alignment
- Support IT Project Managers in initiating IT Projects
- Support IT Project Managers in Project Execution (e.g. change in business requirements)
- Promote and follow Guiding Principles set in IT Strategy
- Stay relevant by keeping up to date with relevant technology domains (roadmaps etc.)

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge on technology domains relevant to Ramboll; know the market and the as-is at Ramboll
- Strong analytical skills; experienced with analytical processes and tools
- Financial knowledge; ability to produce business cases
- Strong collaboration skills; cross-functional collaboration across Ramboll Support Functions and Business Units
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
- The ability to build relationships and trust, so your business colleagues see you as their partner, focusing on creating value for the business
- The ability to understand and navigate a complex, relationship-based matrix organization to achieve key objectives
- Being able to adopt a team-oriented approach to solving problems, as well as being able to drive results through others without having a formal direct line of command authority
