Group Finance CSO Finance Construction
Group CSO Finance are the dedicated finance business partners to the Global Sales, Global Construction and Global Supply Chain operations. We are an internationally diverse team, that together is focused on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering. You will report to the Director, CSO Finance Construction.

As a member of the HQ Business Performance Management (BPM) team the main responsibility is to act as a business partner for the organisation. You will support the Global Construction organisation by helping your stakeholders to take the best decision at the best time. To do that it is important that you have the ability to identify solutions, alternatives and consequences, thus developing accurate and transparent solutions.

You act confidently with a collaborative and open approach, enabling you to be a trusted advisor to the management. It is essential that you are driven, ambitious and diligent in carrying out your tasks with persistency. Furthermore, you can meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your good interpersonal skills enable you to understand stakeholder needs and expectations.

You can expect full contact with the business as well as with the other BPM areas and Global Finance functions. Capability to influence the business and keeping the compliance commitments are the main output of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Performance Management of Construction Projects Portfolio
  • Monthly consolidation & analysis of actual and forecasted project revenue and margins for global portfolio
  • Complete ad hoc root cause analysis on specific project performances to identify areas of improvement or best practices
  • Identify learning points and spread them through the organisation, drive commonality and efficiency
  • Benchmark performance internally and externally
  • Provide clear, up-to-date and relevant management information
  • Support the development of regional sales business unit (SBU) strategy, including KPIs/PPIs, evaluation of scenarios and on-going follow-up
  • Drive professional performance management in cooperation with Line Management

Qualifications

  • Master or HD with a major in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related subject
  • Minimum 1-2 years of financial experience in project cost controlling and execution, cost analysis, -business performance management
  • Strong systems skills including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP BI, SAP BPC experience would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English required
  • Mastering additional languages would be an advantage
  • Large international company experience and (Renewable) energy experience is an asset but not required
