Digital Business Analyst - Global IT

We are currently looking for a new Digital Business Analyst who can support our global marketing organisation and build the bridge between IT resources and requirements from the business.
Join a Dedicated Dynamic IT Department
Our PIM & DAM solutions serve our Global Marketing organisation and Operations with essential product data and we need your help to transform new business requirements from our business into functional solutions together with a strong and dedicated team consisting of 10 people and 1 manager. Here, you will on a daily basis be working with developers and architects and together you will build our PIM and DAM platforms of the future.
We have flexible working conditions and an informal and engaging work atmosphere. You will have some highly professional and helpful colleagues, for whom knowledge sharing comes naturally. You will especially be working closely with our PIM architect also located at our Demant Head Quarter in Smørum and our application supporter in Poland. Naturally, you will also be working with important stakeholders in Marketing and our different Business units.
Analyzing and finding the requirements of the business
Your main tasks will involve driving analysis of incoming business requirements, big and small, for changes to our PIM (InRiver) and DAM (Aprimo) solutions. This will involve participating in projects and doing IT resource assessments of the coming changes and releases. Taking on the role you can look forward to the following responsibilities:
- Build bridge between IT and the business by analyzing and finding new requirements from the business
- Collect the demands from the business and translate them into new IT initiatives
- Scope and define upcoming PIM/DAM projects and keep track of our Product Data and IT resources
- Participate as the marketing representative from global marketing in standup meetings with external consultants
- Participate once a week in meetings with directors from global marketing and communicate about upcoming releases
Furthermore, one of our bigger upcoming projects is to move our PIM system into the Cloud. Therefore, having experience within project management is considered a plus.
Since we are a global company 10-12 days of travelling per year can be expected.
Your Backpack
In order to be successful in the role, we envision that you have a technical background, such as an IT or Engineering degree with at least 2-3 years of professional experience from having worked in the field of digital solutions. Having worked before with a PIM/DAM solution we would very much like to hear from you.
As a person you are positive by nature in your approach to new challenges and uncertainties. You can contribute at different levels — from driving the business analysis through cross-systems solution design down to the information architecture of the product.
Collecting, structuring, and keeping track of IT resources and requests from the business also comes natural to you.
As you will manage and use information from several areas in our company, you must have a significant drive. Being able to understand our Product Data and filter out ideas that does not match our application landscape is also important.
Furthermore, you have good communications skills and can understand and communicate complex technical details in an easy-to-understand manner. Finally, you are known as someone who creates progress in projects and solutions.
