About the job

Would you like the opportunity to be part of a visible and outgoing Group Non-Financial Risk Management team, where you can contribute to creating value for Saxo Group and our clients?

We have initiated an exciting journey to bring non-financial risk management (NFRM) to the next level and are looking for a motivated and talented student assistant to join our team at the Group’s Headquarters in Copenhagen.

The Group NFRM team is part of the Group Risk and Capital Management, Saxo Bank’s second line risk management function. Within Group NFRM, the Risk Governance & Reporting team is responsible for reporting on the Group’s risk profile as well as maintaining the overall framework for non-financial risks. You will further receive the opportunity to assist with the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards and the ad-hoc analysis and presentation of key findings.

Your profile

You are preferably in the last year of your Bachelor’s degree or studying for your Master’s degree within the fields of Finance, Economics or other relevant background and hold excellent academic results. You have a good understanding of financial markets and a technical skillset that includes the usage of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. It would be considered an advantage to have fundamental knowledge of reporting tools (such as PowerBI), data capture and storage models and data queries (SQL).

You are motivated, curious in nature and eager to acquire knowledge in new areas. You have a structured and methodical approach to tasks and take a high degree of ownership, while also being able to work in a team setting. You thrive on finding intelligent and automated solutions and appreciate removing obstacles and impediments. You enjoy working in an international, cross-cultural environment and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English.

We offer

We aspire to be a non-hierarchical, purpose-driven organisation. At Saxo it is not about entitlement, it is about impact, no matter where you sit in the organisation. A good idea is always taken seriously and you can truly make a difference.

When you work here, you become part of the Saxo family. We invest in your personal development and offer you large responsibility from day one. We encourage an open feedback culture and team efforts. If you show a collaborative spirit, drive and passion, your learning curve will be steep and your (international) career opportunities with Saxo immense.

We offer good and competitive terms of employment.
