SCALES A/S is owned by NNIT and as our new Finance Manager, you will be joining a great team of dedicated and professional colleagues both within SCALES and NNIT. As Finance Manager you will be playing a vital role in financial management of SCALES in close cooperation with top management in SCALES to ensure continued great results and further growth. This includes optimizing finance processes, controlling, daily operations, our month-, quarterly- and year-end procedures relevant to both our internal and external reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensures effective and optimized financial reporting and management in compliance with the NNIT Group requirements
  • Covers controlling agenda (regular reporting and ad hoc reporting based on management’s need)
  • Responsible for timely and effective monthly, quarterly and yearly closing procedures for local and Group purposes
  • Interacts internally with management team and externally with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, banks and other stakeholders
  • Ensures daily finance operations in SCALES (e.g. invoice and payments approvals, VAT approvals, etc.), accuracy and timeliness of the outputs
  • Administrative and management tasks within vendor and customer management, invoicing, payments, bookkeeping, leasing contracts, insurance, and HR support
  • Supports SCALES’ strategic initiatives
  • Participates in budgeting process
  • Has responsibility for legal processes
  • Cooperates with SCALES accountant and supervises the work delivered.

You are eager to learn new things and make a difference. In close collaboration with your colleagues in the finance and management team you will be an important part of the constant improvement and optimization of internal processes. This means that you should be curious, ask questions and suggest solutions.

Your qualifications and experience

  • At least 3 years of proven track-record from finance position or from your work as an auditor
  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager or sees the position as a natural next step in your career
  • Previous experience with controlling agenda
  • Sound analytical skills within financial information
  • Mastering Excel
  • IFRS experience
  • Master degree in economics
  • Fluent in Danish (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is an advantage
