We have an exciting opportunity for a Nordic speaking candidate to join our clients friendly Finance Service Centre in the outskirts of Barcelona as a Subject Matter Expert for Order to Cash

About the role:

It is the role of a coach to effectively develop the knowledge and technical skills of the Specialists/Agents in conjunction with the Team Leader. Through the identification and subsequent closure of knowledge gaps, it is intended that the SME will positively work towards increasing team efficiency and in order to reach the ops targets. The role holder will also be expected to review /update current processes and documentation and work instructions to ensure that they reflect the current operations and business practices. To also identify any process gaps or improvements and therefore, to actively initiate continuous improvement projects.

Key components of success will include:

  • Complete and keep updated all the processes and related documentation
  • Provide training to the new hires
  • Act as agent back-up when a certain process is not covered operationally
  • Ensure all team members are at an efficient level
  • Achievement of Team Targets & ICMP standards
  • Identify improvement areas and deliver continuous improvement projects
  • Actively participate in automation projects

Including day-to-day activities

    • Provide guidance, coaching and work-shadowing (can also be carried out by experienced team members) to new starters and established specialists/agents
    • Where technical knowledge gaps have been identified through the review process, the role holder will work with the specialists/agents and the respective Team leader to aid in the closure of that gap;
    • Review of existing work processes, reworking where appropriate and update of work instructions to reflect new processes in line with current operations and business practices;
    • Actively seeking, identifying and communicating solutions to queries escalated to them by either the team or referred to them by the Team leader;
    • To carry out the normal duties of a specialist/agent within team
    • Identify improvement areas (processes simplification/standardization & automation) and initiate respective projects to put in place the change


Provide years of experience, qualifications, etc.

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Order to Cash organisation (Required)
    • Minimum 2 years in debt collection
    • Experience in Collections / Accounts Receivable (Preferred)
    • Experience in the setup of a new team (Preferred)
    • Experience in documentation process mapping (Preferred)
    • Experience in project management and/or RPA projects (Preferred)


Skillset Needs

  • Fully Fluent in English + at least one of the Nordic languages (Danish/Norwegian/Swedish/Finnish)
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Team Player and Team motivator
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Adaptable to a changing environment & flexible in regards to working patterns
  • Analytical skills (finance)
  • Very good time management skills
