You will be responsible for
The role provides a very diverse range of responsibilities among others:
- Project management across a variety of Business Development initiatives
- Drive and support future business opportunities including development of business cases.
- Development of new business models or improve existing models in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
- Drive commercial opportunities and insight as part of MOT overall Strategy and Vision
- Create value through establishing and managing partnerships with entities such as customers, suppliers and other external as well as internal parties.
- Provide general BD support to all Regional Offices NY/Singapore/Rotterdam when relevant
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced professional (+ 5 year) preferably with an existing background from the Shipping/Logistic or Oil industry or related Energy sectors. Demonstrated experience within business development or project development will be deemed as significant advantage.
Additionally, we are looking for candidates who have:
- Master in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar
- Advanced strategic and commercial mindset with an eye for detail
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in an area with high uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Comfortable with shifting priorities, workload and responsibilities.
- Understanding of and well-developed skills in identifying and maturing business opportunities, building relationships, and storytelling
- Demonstrated experience with managing larger complex business projects (Experience with contract and/or offtake assessments and negotiations)
- Strong commercial, finance and business acumen to assess viability
- Natural stakeholder management and people engagement skills
- Strong analytical sense and the ability to manage several projects at once
- Proactiveness and Hands-on attitude as this role is an individual contributor role.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
Team collaboration, customer centricity, innovative mindset and a high sense of ownership are key fundamentals to succeed in this role.
