Foodjob Nordic is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager for Bunge Loders Croklaan.

The position
With reference to the Sales Director Food Specialties you will be responsible for developing the business in the Nordics. You will lead all aspects of the commercial activity with a focus on developing and implementing the regional strategy. This includes:
Together with the Sales Director and the EAME account team you are making the market plans and identifying profitable solutions. While you are spearheading activities in the market you are backed up by the company Customer Service and Technical Service functions. Besides this you are liaising with the product management, trading, supply chain, marketing and innovation functions in order to deliver the best value propositions to the customers.
You will be based in home office in either Denmark or Sweden and your estimated travelling activity will be up to 30%.
Profile
Besides a relevant educational background you possess significant B2B sales experience including selling ingredients or raw materials to the food industry or related industries. Ideally you have an established network in the Nordic food markets
It is a prerequisite for success that you have a broad technical understanding of food ingredients and some understanding of vegetable oils and fats application. So is your ability to build strong relations – with customer and also internally.
You have excellent communications skills, verbally and in writing, in one of the Scandinavian languages and in English.

- Prospecting potential new customer relations and acquiring new business
- Developing new innovative solutions together with customers and the go-to-market team
- Customer visits across the region and taking part in trade fairs and industry events
- Setting product terms and prices and leading negotiations
- Staying on top of innovations and keeping updated on trends
