European Energy is a Danish-founded renewable energy company in rapid growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. The Team
You will be part of a smaller team consisting of one colleague in our office in Athens, Greece, and three full-time colleagues and a student assistant in our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Together we are focusing on developing our pipeline of onshore projects, currently consisting of 1 GW wind and 1 GW solar (PV) with planned construction in 2024-26.
As our new Project Manager your focus will be on developing and handling our wind- and solar (PV) projects in Greece to bring the current projects to ready-to-build status as well as building up the pipeline of new projects in Greece.

Areas of responsibility
- You will develop wind- and solar (PV) projects in Greece from early stage to construction preparation
- You will coordinate between Project Development- and EPC departments, as well as internal and external stakeholders and service providers
- You will, in dialogue with the authorities, ensure we have all the permits in place at the right time
- You will be responsible for the management of site-specific assignments like road surveys, drone footage, yield assessments, etc.
- You will handle the development process, prepare, and submit project applications and documentation to relevant authorities
- You will handle stakeholder management of external partners such as landowners, developers, and service providers
To thrive in the job we imagine
- You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in project development of Solar (PV) and wind projects in Greece
- You have experience with development, permitting, and construction preparation management
- You have a relevant university degree or similar, within engineering, e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
- You are fluent in Greek and fully proficient in English
- You are skilled in MS Office, AutoCAD. It is an advantage if you are skilled also in PV Syst, WindPro, and GIS.
- You have a driving license
