Join HydraSpecma Renewables, a pioneering force in cooling, lubrication and hydraulic solutions in the renewable energy sector, as our new Research and Development (R&D) Manager.

What Will Your Role Include?

• Leading and coordinating research and development projects from concept to completion, ensuring innovative, efficient, and timely deliverables.

Examples of projects: new technology, approval of new suppliers, calculation tools or new test capabilities. Moreover, part of the R&D department is our test and validation activities, for customer prototypes and in-house validation, which you will also be leading and coordinating.

• Identify and lead our R&D roadmap/strategy to enable continuously development of new products and technologies, as well as improving existing ones.

• Ongoingly seek knowledge and inputs from surrounding industries and relevant universities to stay updated with trends and new technologies that might be applicable for our markets.

• Conducting detailed analyses of project feasibility, cost implications, and potential ROI to drive decision-making processes.

• Make sure we have the right competences, equipment, and setup to succeed with the projects. This also includes developing competences such as CFD and FEM.

• Maintain and lead a culture of high motivation, engagement, encouraging creativity and analytical thinking within the team to achieve good results.

• As R&D Manager you will be part of our Technology Management Team in HydraSpecma Renewables.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.

• An innovative and self-directed individual with proven experience in R&D management within relevant industries.

• Someone with the energy and motivation to drive projects forward and achieve significant results.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration within the team and across relevant departments, such as: Global Procurement, Customer Engineering and Operations.

• Experience within cooling, hydraulic and lubrication systems is preferred but not mandatory.
