Compliance Coordinator / Student Assistant

We are around 35 lawyers and legal counsels in [xxxxx], located in various places of the world, including Hungary, Denmark, China, Italy, and the US. We work with a variety of legal topics, including commercial contracts, corporate, data privacy, IP, M&A, and various types of compliance, including export control and sanctions, anti-money laundry and anti-bribery, competition law, and sustainability related compliance.

What is the job about?

As our new student assistant, you will assist our Legal Compliance team as a compliance coordinator.

The Legal Compliance team consists of currently 2 lawyers and an engineer, and you will be an integral part of the team in day-to-day tasks across functions.

Some of the following tasks will be part of your work:

Compliance monitoring overviews
Tracking of development in sanctions
Assistance on template drafting and presentations to the business or management
Update response and activity plans
Develop and update policies and company guidelines
Training programs monitoring
Reporting across compliance areas
Updating relevant Teams sites and SharePoint sites
Product classification updates
Due diligence assessments
Defense file management

Your job will be around 15-20 paid hours per week in Bjerringbro, Denmark. We expect that you can work two days per week, but the job contains freedom and flexibility, and we may agree on different schedules in some weeks.

What we expect from you

We expect that are studying to get a bachelor's degree or a diploma in for instance business administration, management, finance, business law, quality, or other education relevant for a compliance coordinator. Since most of your task will be in English, you must have a good command of written and oral English. Further, we expect that you are team-player, solution-oriented, and that you are curious to learn about [xxxxx].
