In the role of Finance Business Analyst, you will join a committed finance team dedicated to driving performance management across our group functions. We advise and support the business in all finance, and performance management matters.

You will be part of an international environment and an energetic team of 6 people taking up the roles of Financial Business Partners and Financial Analysts, reporting to Trine Bay, Senior Finance Manager.

What is the job about

As Finance Business Analyst you will be a vital link between our collective repository of financial data and our business objectives. By ensuring the successful build-up, testing, and deployment of analytical standards or ad hoc queries you deliver important data for business-critical decisions.

You will be working closely together with finance colleagues and business stakeholders to define specifications for business analyses and configure the solution. Every case is an opportunity to optimize and improve information flow and business understanding both ways, and you will have a great impact with your ability to communicate complex analysis conclusions in an easy-to-understand format.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Study financial and business data to spot trends and patterns and create forecasts/budgets in close alignment with senior stakeholders.
Link consequences of internal or external factors impacting consolidated financial statements as well as our performance management systems.
Development of data models, dashboards and optimization of calculation models built in Excel and Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to build business cases reflecting major business decisions.

What do you need to apply

We will be looking for a person who enjoys a fast-phase environment working both with day-to-day cases and long-term projects. You have a significant curiosity to understand the business drivers and the ability to interact with your stakeholders to build good relations and find relevant information.

You are excellent at analyzing data and communicating your findings. You are fast to pick up new learning and bold to challenge what compromise your beliefs.

We imagine that you:

hold a relevant master’s degree, preferably paired with a few years of practical business finance/controlling experience.
have directed your career toward business intelligence or business finance.
are adept in Excel and Power BI.
have a basic understanding of accounting principles and models.
have significant communication and relationship-building skills.
are proficient in English.
