In Maersk Air Cargo, we have vast experience as an air cargo and ACMI operator, currently operating and managing a fleet consisting of +/-20 Boeing freighters with bases in Cologne and Leipzig, Germany, and Billund, Denmark. The fleet of aircraft has just been expanded with one Boeing 777 freighters to support our long-haul operation and one more will be delivered during 2024.

We are seeking a go-minded Workforce Planning Analyst to become a part of our Workforce Planning team consisting of 8 colleagues. In Workforce Planning we’re creating shift plans for both pilots, mechanics as well as handling all hotels and transports for our pilots. We are striving towards data driven, efficient and integrated crew scheduling across borders to optimize and improve the overall performance. We are looking for a Workforce Planning Analyst, who can create various analyze to support decision making as well as forecasting the future need of pilots. We are a business and department in continuously development and just welcome the first of two brand new Boeing 777 freighters.

Key responsibilities:

As Workforce Planning Analyst, you will be handling a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Long-term establishment planning/ forecasting pilot needs in the future
• Conduct proof of concept analysis
• Create a wide range of analysis as decision support for Workforce Planning Manager and MAC Leadership team
• Evaluate the crew effect based on various timetables
• Optimize processes within Workforce Planning
• Create and report several KPI’s and reports to management

We are looking for

• Master’s degree within IT, mathematical, operations research or economic.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• General good IT-skills
• High level of details
• Growth mindset and can-do attitude
• Fluency in Danish and English

This is an advantage but not a requirement

• Previous experience from aviation is an advantage
• Knowledge of Crew Management Systems (current system is Navblue/ N-OPS & Crew, Raido)
• Knowledge of EASA Flight Time Limitations (FTL)
