Job Description Are you the new member of our Business Development Team within Power-to-X and hydrogen? Then we invite you to bring your skills and experience into play in the world energy triangle challenge to help controlling the climate change. You will be market proactive to strategize, develop and tender for projects where the end-product will be hydrogen, e-fuels and e-chemicals. We are active in most parts of the energy industry, and you will get the chance to be involved in all aspects from developing the first strategies for client interaction throughout to final implementation of projects. Your main tasks will be market identification, client identification, client development and Key Account Management as well as direct client and tender interaction. You will join our Power-to-X & Gas infrastructure Market team As our new colleague in Business Development, you will be part of the team headed in Copenhagen but with a sales network throughout our target markets. The market focused on Power-to-X & hydrogen is working on sustainable and innovative energy solutions, supporting our customers maturing and implementing projects from pilot to utility scale. The team is working on local as well as international projects. The market team is part of the Energy Transition division that currently has approximately 600 employees. We are organized in a matrix with strong engineering teams to support projects and set up to growth the sustainable energy business across the total of Ramboll Energy. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Develop business development strategies and go to market plans within teams’ responsibility Identification of clients and projects Proactivly contact clients Responsible for CRM of own clients Follow up on plans, planning proactive efforts, conferences, development meetings with clients Participate in KAM teams as well as be KAM responsible Be responsible for tenders i.e. set the winning strategy and lead the tender to success Be an active part of the cross organisational sales team within hydrogen & Power-to-X Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: A University degree in engineering perhaps supplemented with a commercial education. A commercial mindset and experience with Business Development in BtB consultancy segment Experience from Power-to-X, hydrogen, chemical or refinery industry Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral. Preferably supplemented by German. At least 5 years of experience in similar fields are desirable Experience in what makes the winning technical tender Strong computer and internet literacy skills (MS Office or similar) Experience with project execution and construction would be advantages Time and budget skills Analytical skills, Structured and problem-solving capacity, ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Experienced and enthusiastic about renewable energy, Power-to-X, hydrogen etc. Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: dynamic, energetic, and self-driven, team oriented yet independent. Some extraversion is needed, well organized and structured. Positive attitude, good humour, and mode. Astute working ways. Motivated by team success/a team player. Thrive in a cross-cultural environment. The job requires flexibility, and some travelling can be expected.
