And do you have an ambition to build and lead your own business branch?

For some time, our technical specialists have developed innovative and customised software solutions to maximise the performance of our intralogistics systems. Now, we need your commercial expertise to shape these into attractive and scalable services that add value to our wider customer base,” says Peter From, Divisional Director, Operations.Determining the scope and pricing of these new integrated software solutions, you will team up with our Lead Architect to place data at the heart of our future offerings. And if you’re interested – you will manage your own team within a few years.Take our business to the next levelThe BEUMER Group are experts in delivering advanced intralogistics systems, such as package and baggage sortation systems to airports, postal offices and warehouses across the world. And in recent years, we have specialised in utilising complex customer data to develop tailor-made services and tools that monitor, optimise and tune our core products to perform even better. These innovative solutions have been developed by the brilliant minds of our Data Analytics team in Aarhus. So far, we have developed solutions for specific customer needs, but we would like all our customers to benefit from our data gold mine. Joining your 8 new technical colleagues in the Data Analytics team, you will build our new data and services business branch together with the Lead Architect. Build our big data business model from scratchWe have the infrastructure in place to stream data from customer sites and are currently doing so for 10% of our customer base of more than 1,000 sites. By engaging with our customers, your mission will be to expand our base of data collaborations and clarify value-adding opportunities based on customer needs and existing data analytics solutions. Doing so, you will turn our current solutions into commercial products and services.“You will get the freedom you need to develop our big data business model. And we will of course make all our competencies available to you as you will need to draw on resources from your own team, R&D, software and mechanical engineering departments and other BEUMER divisions,” Peter From explains.Ensure successful global roll-out and profitabilityOnce you have established, priced and upscaled our new solution portfolio, your next goal will be to establish it as the core of our business. You will be responsible for growing and sustaining the new business branch and ensuring profitability. Thus, you will collaborate closely with our 26 sales organisations worldwide to equip sales colleagues to bring our new solutions to the market. As our customers and sales organisations are situated worldwide, we imagine you will need to travel to build successful collaborations, but we will leave the planning up to you.Commercial business developer with a focus on data utilisation You do not need to be the technical expert – we got plenty of those – but you do need to know how to price and sell data products. Thus, you have a background in commercial business/product development and experience with commercialising software as a service.
