The department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 200+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The team consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Product Supply. Our team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors.
We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT projects will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
The position
As an IT Business Analyst, you will become responsible for defining, building and operating IT infrastructure and for providing a global VMware IT Infrastructure for Product Supply in Novo Nordisk as well as designing and implementing large scale VMware projects. You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with the whole Infrastructure team as well as our stakeholders globally. Furthermore, you will stay ahead on industry trends and assess new products and technologies as well as define and document future architectures and ensure scalability. You will also need to evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapt to Novo Nordisk usage globally.
The position can be placed in either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, Denmark.
Your qualifications
You have a Bachelor (BSc.) or Master’s degree (MSc.) in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields and 5-8 years of proven experience within the field. In addition, you have strong understanding of infrastructure, operations domain area, other IT technologies (e.g. covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc.). Preferably, you have experience within the pharma and manufacturing industry and also experience in working within an Agile/SAFe framework.
On a personal level you have a proactive approach to work tasks and holds a can-do attitude as well as a cross-cultural understanding. You also have the ability to orchestrate communication with stakeholders who holds limited in-depth IT knowledge. Moreover, you are motivated by challenges and seeking to develop new competencies. Fluency in written and spoken English is required and some travel activities might be expected since travelling to our production sites might be necessary depending on activities.
