On the behalf of one of our loyal customers we are looking for an experience and result-driven Project Manager for on-shore HV projects – so if you are looking for a new exiting challenge, we might have the right one.

Your position

In your new position as Project Manager for HV projects - you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team of project managers, electrical power specialists, and technical assistants whose mission is to drive replacement and maintenance projects to be delivered right on time.

Your place of work will be at our customers location in Copenhagen areal with possibilities to work remotely. Travel to other locations will occur.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Project Manager your responsibility and tasks will include:

  • Lead and manage replacement and maintenance projects in the range of 100,000 to 10 million DKK.
  • Coordinate interfaces between relevant sub-projects, contractors, internal employees, and third parties.
  • Insight into the design and calculation of HVAC stations/components including main and sub-components, self-supply systems, grounding systems, relay protection, and control equipment.
  • Perform site supervision and ensure that the project proceeds in accordance with the agreed contract.
  • Conduct follow-up on documentation for quality assurance and archiving according to given guidelines.
  • Coordinate and manage the procurement of components/installation tasks, including the preparation of procurement specifications and mini-tenders.
  • Report to the portfolio manager and project finance.
  • Participate as needed in relevant tests at suppliers and on the production site/site.
  • When necessary, take on the role of "Commissioning Manager," i.e., coordinate, install, and commission systems.
  • Be part of the portfolio group consisting of six other project managers, the portfolio manager, and our project supporter.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for an energetic Project Manager who is passionate about high voltage and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have a proactive and structed approach to your work and are eager to contribute to the client’s team overall success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • An educational background as an electrical engineer, electrical installer, high voltage engineer, or equivalent, in relation to the task.
  • Project work within high voltage installations at substations and transmission lines.
  • Insight into design/planning and documentation in one or more of the following areas:
    • Control panels for high voltage installations.
    • Self-supply systems/battery systems.
    • Control and monitoring for high voltage installations.
    • Relay protection for high voltage installations.
    • Components for high voltage installations.
    • Grounding and lightning protection systems.

  • Preparation of procurement specifications and mini-tenders for components/installation tasks.
  • Quality assurance and handling deviations from agreed processes in the contract.
  • Understanding of preparing quality plans, including control and test forms/procedures.
  • Coordination of interfaces between relevant sub-projects, contractors, internal employees, and third parties.
  • Supervision on site of components and installation.
  • Coordination, installation, and commissioning of systems.
  • Familiarity with testing one or more of the following:
    • Relay protection for high voltage installations.
    • Control and monitoring for high voltage installations.
    • Control panels for high voltage installations.
    • Self-supply systems/battery systems.
    • Control measurement of grounding systems.

  • Participation in relevant tests at suppliers and at the production site/site.
  • Follow-up on documentation for quality assurance.
  • Danish – Fluent in written and spoken.
  • English – Technical in written and spoken (intermediate level).
