Kvik has grown sales 74% the last 7 years by growing sales in current stores, opening new stores and new markets. Today Kvik can be found in 170+ stores in 13 markets - and many more stores will open the coming years, which is why we need one more in our International Academy team.

At Kvik we want to continue to grow at a high pace and to do that we need to increase our academy-, training- and development capacity. We are looking for a person with a passion for developing and training others. Our new International Academy & Development Manager will – to begin with, be responsible for our stores in Denmark, Germany and Finland. You will be responsible for both planning, developing and delivering high quality trainings. You will be a part a skilled team, but you also have to be able to deliver on your own, not only in the markets that you are responsible for but supporting all 170+ retail stores in all markets.

Can you build strong relations to your colleagues and are you an excellent facilitator?
You will - to begin with, be responsible for academy activities in our Danish home market, Finland and in our most recently established market Germany. Stakeholder management is a key factor in becoming a success. You need to build a strong relationship to your key stakeholders in Kvik A/S and our franchisees in our stores. As a facilitator you are in the spotlight and must deliver. To become successful, you must be able to fulfill the following criteria’s:

  • Develop and deliver high quality trainings for franchisees and sales staff in Denmark, Finland, and Germany.
  • Contribute to the overall development of Kvik Academy in an international context.
  • Being able to plan, develop and facilitate trainings and E-learnings both online and face to face.
  • Have a business mindset where trainings cannot stand alone. You create the link between development and business output.
  • You speak with data and make your ROI visible.

It is expected that you, in this role will spend 80-100 days yearly in training/educating your colleagues and employees from Kvik stores.

The International Academy & Development Manager will report directly to the HR & Academy Director in Kvik and have a close cooperation with major stakeholders like.

  • Sales Directors and Country Managers
  • Retail Consultants and Franchisees
  • Suppliers and other key functions in Kvik A/S

As Kvik’s new International Academy & Development Manager you will be in a position with a wide area of responsibility and freedom. You will depend on many different stakeholders and be a part of a remote international team that works close together yet far from each other. Kvik is looking for a profile who already have experience in training and development – you are already used to facilitate and run specific training activities, which might be from a competitive retail environment. The right candidate masters the toolbox to get the full potential out of different personalities and functions – to perform their very best. Therefore, Kvik is searching for a person with the combination of skills within both strong communication, facilitation, learning and developing competences.

What does it take to be a part of Kvik?
We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience within training/academy activities. In addition, it will be an advantage if you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree, but most importantly - you are good at moving people and getting your colleagues, to work with and try new sales and leadership tools.

A structured mindset is necessary to have the overview of and handle a complex position in a matrix organisation across several countries. Experience with e-learning and online training tools is an advantage.

Experience from working with retail and franchisees is a huge advantage as well.

You speak and write English and Danish at a business level. Can do trainings in both. German is an obvious advantage.

Finally - you may fill out a similar academy/training role today, but you don’t need to have an international scope already, as long as you are highly motivated and driven by the challenge.
