Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) right now offers you the opportunity in an exciting role as Business Development Manager.
With direct report to the General Manager of the Nordic Sales organisation, you will contribute with vital people skills to facilitate delivery and support for all offerings from simple queries through to major projects. This will be done in cooperation with flexible, multifunctional teams that put the customer first and strives for efficiency through people, structure, and process. Furthermore, you will become a member of the Nordic Management Team contributing to the overall Nordic business.
This position offers many exciting and challenging tasks, including:
- Employ, enable and develop engaged people with the skills and hunger to perform
- Ensure robust processes supporting the business and continuously improve them
- Engage and convince intercompany suppliers to ensure customer focused end-to-end process and deliverables
- Contribute to profitable and sustainable growth by ensuring that margins are monitored and maintained, while looking for efficiency savings
- Contribute to the Nordic Sales strategy by among other things converting initiative into specific Nordic actions
- Align processes and systems with WMFTG strategy around sustainability and data governance
- Adhere to and improve established business processes utilising ‘Best Practice’, and create new processes where applicable
- Ensure that all processes are in alignment with core values
- Ensure, in cooperation with the Management Team, appropriate use of resources across the organisation
As Business Development Manager, you will join a well-functioning team working across the Nordic countries with an international perspective.
Proven management skills combined with a strong commercial focus
Ideally you have a degree within engineering, marketing, finance or another relevant field combined with at least 5 years of working experience. You have experience as a people manager and enjoy this aspect of your working life. You have a sound commercial understanding and are able to speak to internal and external stakeholders at both the operational and the strategical level.
As a person, you are positive and solution-oriented, you have a great drive, and take pride in delivering according to your deadlines. Furthermore, you have strong interpersonal and communicative skills, and you master English on a high professional level.
