Then join Vattenfall’s Network Solutions team as a Business Developer electrical heavy transport (e-mobility)
At Vattenfall Network Solutions they drive the electrification and decarbonisation of heavy transport. Vattenfall provides their customers with the needed charging facilities, electrical equipment and battery storage solutions based on their Power-as-a-Service model, where Vattenfall develop, own and operate the full charging system.
We are on behalf of Vattenfall looking for a Business Developer to drive the Sales and Business Development for Heavy Transport within all transport segments related to charging of electric heavy vehicles and busses in Denmark. Your work will be focused on the Danish market, but you will be part of an international team excited about innovative and entrepreneurial projects which contributes to an electrified future.
• Drive the business development and sales activities in Denmark towards the heavy transport segments such as logistics and bus operators.
• Identify and act on business opportunities.
• Pipeline management by developing sales plans for heavy transport in Denmark.
• Manage and build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure continuous commitment and expand the business pipeline.
• Gain deep market insight and work closely with the international team to inspire development of market-sided innovation initiatives across markets.
• Negotiate contracts, coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation.
• Share and secure market know-how and expertise within the organization.
• Coordinate various stakeholders, both internally and externally working with suppliers, customers and contractors.
Being a proactive professional with an open mindset, is key for the role of Business Developer. As you will build long-term relationships with different stakeholders, you are a strong communicator that feels comfortable with taking ownership of the sales and market development in Denmark. Besides these competences, the ideal profile should possess some of the following skills:
• Experience and excellent understanding of sales and business development.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Sales experience from e-mobility, charging solutions or electrical infrastructure is an advantage.
• Ability to make an impact is more important than seniority.
• Experience from the bus sector or haulage/logistics sector is an advantage.
• Open to and excited about new technologies and challenges.
• Legal understanding of contracts and ability to negotiate.
• Wanting to be part of a ‘start-up’ environment within the Vattenfall group.
• Danish is a requirement along with a good command of English.
Being an international team, Vattenfall applies a large degree of flexible work conditions – online, working from home etc. – your base will be the office in Kolding or Copenhagen.
