Everfuel’s mission is to enable European-wide production, distribution and fueling of 100% green hydrogen fuel at prices competitive to traditional fuels. They are growing rapidly, and are now looking for a motivated Project Manager, who wants to join their green hydrogen journey! Is that you?
You will be working as…
As Everfuel’s Energy Trading Responsible it is your responsibility to analyze, conceptualize and drive the procurement of electricity used for hydrogen production. Your goal is to make green hydrogen commercially available for end-users by using your knowledge about the relevant electricity markets, including bringing relevant green energy certificates into the Everfuel agenda.
You will be working on a strategic level defining and organizing the concepts in a new position where you have the chance of building the processes from the beginning. As part of an innovative entrepreneurial company, you will also be the hands-on responsible for the daily tasks in energy trading and trading of certificates to other industries.
You will be investigating the rules and requirements regarding certificates on both electricity and hydrogen, and you will analyze the current energy market situation and use this knowledge to suggest strategic moves as well as provide input for optimal locations and operational requirements for hydrogen production (electrolyzers). The role is focusing on commercial opportunities, strategic considerations and technical requirements rather than specific technical solutions. You will be working in close collaboration with you colleagues in the Business Development Team and other Everfuel departments such as Operations, Technology and Finance.
Your tasks:
- Develop and execute trading strategies and concepts for electricity and hydrogen
- Organize, build and maintain overviews of related certificates, incl. methods of handling such
- Develop and execute collaboration agreements and contracts with strategic business partners
- Price forecasting of power prices and certificates, management reports and decision proposals
- Suggest and create solutions to save cost, reduce operational risk and enhance efficiency
- Dialogue with Energy Authorities and other relevant stakeholders on energy trading and certificates
Your place of work will be at the “Everfuel Farm” in Høgild near Herning, Denmark. You will report directly to the Business Development Director and you will be part of an ever-growing team who are all dedicated to ensure that green hydrogen becomes a competitive alternative to fossil fuels. You are…
We imagine you have a relevant educational background most likely on bachelor or master level (Cand.merc., Business Development or the like). You have at least 3 years of experience in power trading and a solid understanding of the power grid. Experience with green certificates is an advantage.
We are looking for a fast learner with strong commercial talents. As a person you are analytical, strategic and have strong skills in evaluating the commercial potential. You are experienced in conceptualizing both the purchasing of electricity and selling of certificates.
You work in an independent and innovative way defining your path to solid results in the context of company growth. You are highly productive to get things done but still in excellent quality. As a person you are dedicated to your job and you want to make a difference to the world by working in a company that wants to make green transportation possible.
Requirements
- Relevant education
- Strong IT and Office365 skills
- Experience with electricity grid and green certificates
- Experience with conceptualizing and commercializing
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
Advantages

- Danish and German in writing and orally for professional use
